Cover of GBW Lines

The Burlington Northern was the GBW's most important connection. Retired BN Conductor Neal Payton recalls working the GBW interchange at East Winona from 1978 to 1981, and running across the Winona Bridge to serve customers on the Minnesota side. This issue of GBW Lines also features retired GBW Engineer Val Campbell's not-so-fond look at the extra board.
