We will have a buffet including baked chicken, beef tips, potatoes, vegetables, rolls, and milk. The banquet is open to all.

There will be a meet & greet at 5 p.m. after the Titletown Train Show closes. Dinner will be served around 6 p.m. The banquet is a great opportunity to talk with people who worked for the GB&W and hear about their days on this fascinating railroad. After holding the GBWHS Board of Directors election and announcing the results, we will present our main program:

Wisconsin Central and the Itel Sisters

Presented by Andrew Nelson

Andrew Nelson, author of “Green Bay & Western Color Pictorial” (Four Ways West Publications) will present two multi-media programs.

The first will be on the Wisconsin Central through start-up in October 1987 to near the end in September 2001.

The second program will be "The Itel Sisters," covering the Fox River Valley Railroad and the Green Bay & Western.

Everyone is welcome.  Employees and retirees of the GBW and its connecting railroads, and their spouses, attend and eat for FREE as a Thank You for your many years of safely working for the railroad, and for continuing to share your memories of the GBW with the organization and others.

Open Slide Show:

A carousel projector will be provided. Slides will be limited to one 80 slide carousel for the first round. After everybody has had an opportunity to show slides, additional slides may be shown.

This picnic is open to anybody interested in the Green Bay & Western Railroad.

Our banquet will be held at the historic Chicago & North Western Railway depot in Green Bay. If you are attending the Titletown Train Show, it couldn’t be more convenient. The C&NW depot is across the Fox River from the KI Convention Center.

We will have a buffet including baked chicken, beef tips, mashed potatoes, vegetables, rolls, and milk, upon request. The cost is $30 for GBWHS members and $35 for non-members. The banquet is open to all.

Please note that the Banquet will be held on the second floor of the C&NW depot, a historic structure that is not ADA accessible.

We will have a meet & greet at 5 p.m. when the Titletown Train Show concludes. Dinner will be served around 6 p.m. The banquet is a great opportunity to talk with people who worked for the GBW and hear about their days on this fascinating railroad. After holding the GBWHS Board of Directors election and announcing the results, we will present our main program.

A limited number of seats may be available at the Titletown Train Show in Green Bay the day of the banquet pending availability.
